Our skilled nursing staff, after a comprehensive assessment of the wound, develop a care plan structured around the physician’s orders for wound care. We put an emphasis on preventing complications such as infections, dehiscence, or further tissue damage by educating the patient and family on proper wound care, infection prevention, and proper nutrition.
Our nursing staff receive regular training on the use and management of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy systems employed by area hospitals and clinics.
